Hey, I'm the creator of this article on The Jasic Company. It is in my view this is a academically and journalistically significant subject due to it's notability in regard to The Jasic Incident, a summer 2018 period of open protests, demonstrations and labor strikes that took place in Shenzhen. This protest was itself significant for attracting young Chinese activists from outside Guangdong. The protests centered around an attempted Unionization, citing a long list of grievances, of a Jasic operated plant that resulted in a number of workers being fired, a number of labor and student activists being detained, and the "dissapearance" of a number of protesters including Yue Xin (activist). This information has been reported in a wide array of reputable sources including South China Morning Post, The BBC:China, Jacobin, & The Guardian.
I'd further like to note that this is a significant topic in relation to Wikipedia information regarding Chinese politics, culture and economics which is in desperate need of expansion and improvement.
